Top 10 Tips To Improve Your English Speaking Skills

11. Excellent English grammar is importance because-
Ø You will quickly understand what people are saying
Ø You will quickly find the correct form of what you want to say
Ø You can concentrate on pronunciation and fluency

22.  Improve your vocabulary-
Ø Use a good dictionary.
Ø Create an image of that word.
Ø Make at least two sentences of that word.

33.  Improve your listening skills-
Ø If you improve your listening, you will speak more fluently.
Ø Watch English listening videos.
Ø Listen and record your voice if possible.
Ø Listen to your pronunciation and compare it.
Ø Identify the mistake and try to improve your pronunciation.
Ø Listen to English radio, watch English  TV channel.

44. Prepare in advance-
Ø Example- before you call a hotel to book a room prepare what you want to say.
Ø Think about your need and the questions you are going to ask.
Ø Find some new words which are related to the topic and practice them.

55.   Learn the International  Phonetic  Alphabet (IPA) -
Ø The IPA helps us to pronounce the word correctly.

66.  Think and talk to yourself in English-
Ø Talk to yourself in English, not your native language.
Ø This will force you to start thinking in English.


77. Practice with students/partners-
Ø Choose a topic (films, holidays, Sports ) make an important rule- only speak English.

88. Speak with native English Speaker-
Ø Practice speaking with a native speaker a few hours.

99. Do not be scared about making a mistake-
Ø If you are scared, you will never speak English.
Ø It doesn't have to be perfect when you are learning.
Ø You can ask other to correct your mistake after you have finished.
  10. Speaking and making a mistake is better than not speaking.
